Everyone has different motivations in life. In the previous paragraph there were those that wanted to dive deeper into a field they were passionate about, there were physical challenges to overcome and motivation to simply chase adventure. A motivation that we often forget is 'family'.
To mark the celebration of one year in business, we invited our community to join us in scaling the Sugarloaf Mountain. On the top of the mountain, each person that joined us wrote down their goal for the year and posted it into our G+C goal box. We caught up with one of those people to see how her goal was progressing. This is her inspiring story.
This week, we are delighted to announce that our G+C KeepCups are finally back in stock. It’s been a long time coming and we’re so excited that they are back.
We have been getting lots of requests for KeepCups but also receiving a lots of questions about them - “What are KeepCups?”, “Should I start using KeepCups?”, “By using them am I saving the world?”, “Does using KeepCups make me better than non-users?!”
One of the real pleasures we’ve experienced as a company is seeing the growth of ‘Hoodies in the Wild’.
We had a few goals when we started out in business. We set out to build a community around an idea. To inspire people to make life richer. To help champion this new activity-based culture we felt so passionate about. We were also committed to designing quality clothing that would encourage real living. ‘Hoodies in the Wild’ is something that brings it all together.
Kiko is an inspiring woman who we have been lucky enough to continuously collaborate with as she prepares to be the fastest woman ever to row solo across the Atlantic.
Since Day 1 we have been delighted to continuously collaborate with Jamie in Upside on all thing coffee related, from training us on the machine, to roasting our very first ‘G+C beans.
Becca lead our 7th #SummerStretch where, accompanied by Sarah Moloney, the duo took to Sandymount Beach in Dublin and led a circuit class that combined cardio and strength moves to help lose fat and build muscle.
Liz's positive outlook on life shone brightly as she led our 8th #SummerStretch in the gorgeous surroundings of the Phoenix Park, Dublin. Liz lead an outdoor vinyasa class which began with a grounding meditation to create connection and calm, followed by dynamic and fun yoga flow to get your body moving and happy
Crossfit Navitas hosted one of our Summer Stretch series where co-founder Rob Sweeney took to the streets combining a mixture of general exercises, basic crossfit movements and a partner workout all surrounded by the graffitied walls of Dublin.
Freestyle soccer champ Conor joined us at Wellfest showing off his skills to the big crowds around our G+C tent.
Charming Billy lead our Summer Stretch in Fitzgerald’s Park in Cork where a huge turnout of our community were put through their paces with a nice mixture of individual and partner workouts with a variety of cardio and bodyweight exercises.
Jody kicked off our Summer Stretch series with a fun class for all levels of fitness ranging from bodyweight movements to high intensity partner workouts.
Ian closed out our Summer Stretch series with a brilliant morning in Bray with team based workouts for all fitness levels.
Carla rocked a POUND class during our Summer Stretch series introducing our community to new way of working out using drumsticks, great music and a whole lot of moving!
Julie lead our second Summer Stretch teaching the class the strong physical practice of yoga with mindfulness, breathing techniques and body awareness. She also gave our community the opportunity to experience HotPod Yoga before it even launched!
