From Cork to North Carolina…
Gym+Coffee is absolutely delighted to announce Denise O’Sullivan as our newest Athlete Ambassador.
A Republic of Ireland professional footballer, O’Sullivan’s talents on the pitch have taken her across the pond to the US, landing her a spot on the North Carolina Courage squad.
“It is an honour to become the newest Gym+Coffee ambassador,” O’Sullivan says. “This brand is the perfect fit for me as it’s really driven by community & that’s really important to me. I’m very excited to begin this journey and build relationships with some amazing people at G+C.”
Throughout her career, O’Sullivan was named the FAI Senior International Player of the Year (2015) and The Irish Times Sport Ireland Sportswoman of the Month (2019) and made the shortlist for the RTÉ Sports Person of the Year award (2019).
With 17 international goals to her name, it comes as no surprise that she’s earned the nickname “Sully the Savage” and “The General” by her teammates. These names were inspired by O’Sullivan’s incredible work ethic and determination on the pitch, something she prides herself in.
Denise O’Sullivan is most certainly putting Cork on the map and we are so proud to have her on our side.
