OUR COFFEE BAG COLLECTION
Going back aaaaages, when the G+C lads had been living in the upside-down part of the world, Karl had big dreams of upcycling disused coffee bean sacks and turning them into something beautiful, functional and sustainable.
We are so, so proud to be able to say that these bags are Irish-designed, Irish-made and are our first upcycled product!!
To produce these bags, we teamed up with Zulfi & Greta Moon of Vel-Oh Cycling Bags who create masterpieces in their Galway workshop. These two are exceptionally passionate about what they do and have taken our concept of upcycling burlap and turning it into the perfect set of bags for urban living, weekend getaways, gym-to-cafe carrying and for the cycle-to-work-commuter.

Each bag in this collection is unique, using different styles of Hessian material and there are three bags in the range: The Duffel, The BackPack and The Satchel. They come to us from our coffee farms suppliers in Mexico, Brazil and Costa Rica, via our coffee roaster, Upside Coffee. Our bags are hand cut and sewn, using genuine leather (worked in at Dublin Leather Store) and waxed canvas accents to help with water resistance for the not-so-sunny days..!
This is something a little bit different for us here at Gym+Coffee and we are very excited to be offering our community something that is truly IRISH and sustainable from tip to toe. We hope they help your Make Life Richer journey become a more sustainable, more Irish (and more organised) one!
