Sliabh Liag are the tallest accessible cliffs in Ireland and the 5th tallest in all of Europe. These giants of the North have generally come in as sidekick to the more well-known Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare but that’s set to change with this awesome capital funding injection.
The new works include a transportation hub, visitor’s centre, improvements to access roading, ranger’s centre, additional car parking and last but CERTAINLY not least: an upgrade to the mountain path network frequented by more than 160,000 visitors every year!
There’s no excuse now - get outside, get up north, and get to hiking!
